Buying cannabis online is illegal, but pretty easy to do. While we do not recommend that you break the law, we do believe everyone has the right to access cannabis.
Turns out it’s pretty easy to buy weed online in the UK. A number of websites on both the regular internet and the dark web, as well as countless social media accounts, offer relatively safe options for cannabis e-commerce. However, there are also many scammers online waiting to take advantage of less experienced users.
Cannabis E-commerce
You’ve probably heard of people buying weed on the mysterious ‘Dark Web’ and from darkweb weed sellers like deligentman You might be aware that it can be purchased via Instagram, even. But did you know there are some websites on the clear net (the regular internet) that you can buy it from?
And I don’t mean hemp or CBD oil. I’m talking THC-rich buds, oil, paste, edibles, concentrates – you name it…
But wait, isn’t cannabis illegal still in the UK?
Cannabis is still very much illegal. While police forces up and down the country are generally taking a softer approach to cannabis crimes than they used to, this is largely down to lack of resources and funding rather than a relaxation in the law.
Medical cannabis has been legal since November 2018, however. Although it’s only prescribe able for a limited number of conditions, almost impossible to get hold of on the NHS, and not of great quality.
Why buy weed online?
More and more over the last few years – and particularly since the lockdowns began – people have been turning to the internet to buy cannabis.
Not only does it remove any need for physical contact with another person, buying online offers a much greater choice of strain, quality and product (flower, extract, edibles, etc.).
Although there are risks and reliable vendors can take some time to find, once you do it’s like that you’ll realise how much smooth and easy the transactions can be.
For people who tired of unreliable dealers with little choice and bad time-keeping skills, the internet offers a convenient alternative where a few clicks of a mouse can result in weed being pushed through your letter box as soon as 24 hours later.
Where can you by weed online in the UK?

We’ve recently come across a surface web market place with an escrow system, great vendors and even better community. But you are welcome to follow us on Instagram and send us a message (make sure you are following us or we won’t see your message).
It hosts a number of vendors selling a variety of cannabis products, including many types of flower, hash, extracts, Cali Weed, Rick Simpson Oil (RSO) and more.
There seems to be a good number of anonymous businesses operating on the platform, many with reassuring guarantees and public reviews clearly displayed in their virtual shops.
Disclaimer: This is not an endorsement. Buying cannabis online is illegal. We do not recommend you break the law.
Scam websites
There are many websites out there that are just waiting to take your money and not send you anything in return.
In fact, we often get messages from people (who are often in poor health and are turning to cannabis in desperation) who have been fleeced out of hundreds of pounds by these scammers.
First, you’ll be pushed to buy larger quantities. Many sites, for example, have a minimum order of one ounce. This is because they know they can only dupe each person once, so they try to make each scam as profitable as they can.
These devious scammers don’t stop there. After your order doesn’t arrive and you let the scammers know, they will often request you pay a further amount of money to cover postage, customs or insurance costs. This way they can hit you twice.
Is it safe to buy weed online in the UK?
Until it’s legal, buying weed off the internet does carry some risk. However, it’s small. Particularly if you’re buying small, personal amounts. Having a medical cannabis card may also offer some protection.
Orders are usually sent discreetly in smell-proof packaging. Even if they weren’t, sniffer dogs are rarely seen in Post Offices and, last we heard, workers are advised to deliver post even if they smell or suspect it contains cannabis.
(This could of course change at any time and offices may have different procedures.)

Not only that, our country’s overworked and under-funded police force has better things to do than operate sting operations as you collect the post in your pyjamas.
So, in this technical age, it would appear that cannabis is more widely available in the UK than ever before. And that’s despite the recent so-called legalisation of the medical use of cannabis.
How much should you be paying for weed in the UK?
If you’re looking to buy a couple grams of weed in the UK, you shouldn’t expect to pay much more than around £10/gram for some good quality flower. High-end Cali Weed can be as much as £100 for 3.5g, or £700/oz.
Edibles will set you back around £10 per 100mg, give or take, while extracts start at around £40 and can go for as much as £100 a gram depending on the product.

CBD is the non-psychotropic cannabinoid cousin of THC. While it won’t get you high, it does offer anti-inflammatory, anti-anxiety, and ant-psychotic properties.
And the CBD revolution is in full steam in the UK, with one of the newest and most popular products on the market being CBD flower.
While it may look like regular weed, CBD flower is non-psychoactive as it contains very little THC.
CBD flower is generally legally-grown hemp flower from Europe or the U.S. It is currently being sold openly online and in vape shops around the country.

Control your use of cannabis
While there is no doubt that cannabis is a miraculous medicine that has huge value to society, let’s not be blind to the negative effects of chronic cannabis use.
Cannabis is a very useful tool. However, like any tool, cannabis can be used ineffectively and even produce negative results.
For example, smoking or vaping cannabis can also be very habit-forming. I know this personally because I have experienced a problematic relationship with cannabis myself.
This resulted in a lack of motivation and focus, mood swings, poor sleep and irritability. A cannabis habit can also be quite a financial burden.
While a cannabis habit is nowhere near as harmful and destructive as the overuse of tobacco, alcohol or countless other widely available drugs (including pharmaceutical medicines), risks exist and must be acknowledged.
There are many ways to reduce these risks – such as using CBD alongside THC, dry herb vaping rather than smoking, taking regular tolerance breaks, and intense exercise, for example.

I discuss these methods in more detail in my book, Overcoming Weed Dependence: The Truth About Addiction And The Secret To A Healthy Relationship With Cannabis, along with many other practical tips that will enable anyone to cultivate a healthy relationship with cannabis
